The Time When Lord Krishna Fell Sick

The Time When Lord Krishna Fell Sick Full Story "Once, in the city of Dwarka, Lord Krishna fell seriously ill, with a high fever. Upon knowing about it, sage Naradha Muni, came to see Him, and asked what happened to you oh Lord Krishna?. to that Krishna replied, 'I have a high fever, Naradha muni! Naradha muni wanted to help and said, 'I will find some medicine to make you better.' But Krishna shared a special secret saying, oh Naradha muni, there's only one cure for me. If you can get some dust from the feet of my devotees, that's the only medicine that will work.' Naradha muni thought, 'In Dwarka, there are many queens who love Krishna. They should have this dust.' So he asked them, 'Krishna is sick, and the cure is dust from your feet. Can you give it to me?' The queens, however said, 'Krishna is our beloved husband. Giving our dust would mean going to hell. We can't do that.' Naradha muni then went to a different place called Vrajabhumi, where Krishna's devoted friends, the gopis, lived. When they heard about Krishna's illness, they eagerly offered their dust. There was even a friendly competition among them, with each gopi saying, 'Take it from me!' They said, “If giving dust from our feet is required for Krishna, and we have to go to hell and suffer forever, we are prepared for that. Let our Krishna be cured and happy.” The lesson here is clear: The love of the gopis, like Radha's love for Krishna, was pure and selfless. They were ready to sacrifice anything to see Krishna happy. This story reminds us to think about, how we can bring happiness to Krishna in our own lives."
