Bass transcript of one of my favorite songs ever: "Jesus Will" by ‪@MsAnitaWilsonTV‬. Whenever a fellow musician expresses interest in getting into gospel music I tell them to give this song a listen and give it a shot at figuring out how to play it. It's a masterclass in groove and gospel harmony. Anita Wilson is just amazing. I absolutely adore her and her band. I did my best to transcribe the bass part exactly like the record. I believe the original bass line was recorded on a 4 string tuned down to Eb, but I figured most people would be playing it on a 5 string. Did my best to include the lead sheet as well.
