New 2025 Audi RS3 8Y Sedan Facelift Revealed

The Audi RS3, a compact car known for its impressive lap record at the Nürburgring, has received a notable update. Although this update is technically a mid-cycle refresh, it introduces enough changes to catch the eye of car enthusiasts. The front end now sports a redesigned grille, paired with sleek matrix LED headlights that come with selectable daytime running light patterns, adding a modern edge to the vehicle's look. The grille features a diamond pattern that’s mirrored in the updated air intakes, which now have vertical black blades for a bolder appearance. Additionally, three new openings above the front splitter give the illusion of a wider stance—a design inspired by the legendary 1987 Quattro S1 Pikes Peak. Moving to the rear, the RS3 has updated taillights with new graphics. The bumper has also been refreshed with vertical reflectors on the sides and a third reflector integrated into the diffuser. The color options have expanded as well, with new shades like Ascari Blue, Progressive Red, and a matte-finish Daytona Gray. Inside the cabin, Audi offers optional carbon bucket front seats, reminiscent of those found in the BMW M2. These seats combine Nappa leather and microfiber for a mix of comfort and durability, though the standard sports seats remain available. The steering wheel has been updated with flat sections at the top and bottom, a red marker at the 12 o'clock position, and quick-select buttons for driving modes. Under the hood, the RS3 retains its powerful five-cylinder engine, delivering 395 horsepower in Europe. While there’s no increase in power just yet, Audi has hinted that more enhancements could be on the way before this generation ends. The adaptive dampers and brake torque vectoring have been further fine-tuned, making the RS3 even more responsive on the road.
