That's when I met your mother. fandom; arrow. song; info at the end story; because I'm a masochist and I heard this song and it just killed me; I knew I had to make an au video to it. So the story is a little weird because there's at least three time periods happening. First, there's Oliver and his and Felicity's son (whom I've named Tommy in my head but that's up to you) in the present. Oliver is essentially telling his son the story of how Felicity and Oliver met, while Tommy is basically falling for a blonde girl at school. The black and white scenes of Laurel and Oliver are meant to be the oldest flashbacks prior to Oliver and Felicity meeting. Once Oliver and Felicity meet, the story proceeds with their relationship. Then, Felicity tells Oliver that she's dying but that he was the best thing to happen to her; as they kiss, we watch flashbacks of their wedding, Felicity pregnant and baby Tommy. If it's confusing, I'm sorry, I was really just trying to follow the lyrics which are pretty poignant and the reason I fell in love with this song.
