On the 24th and 25th of July NNR ran their first special event of the year running a mix of steam and diesel. No visitors just home fleet. Including the relaunch of newly overhauled BR class 31 D5631, BR MK1 BCK 21224, and BR Vanwide B784254. 8 sets were in the four Suburban Coaches plus 21224, four BR MK1 TSOs plus BSK, dining train, Quad Art Set, the two 101s, the goods train, and W&U coach 7 used on brake van rides. Home fleet: LNER B12 8572 one of her last gala appearances before the boiler ticket expires. GER Y14/LNERJ15 564 BR Standard 9F 92203 was meant to run trains but due to a fault she acquired on the run-up to the event was restricted to the brake van rides at Weybourne with W&U coach 7 76084 doing her duties on Saturday and 8572 on Sunday. BR Standard 4MT 2-6-0 76084 was originally meant to do brake van rides on Saturday but due to 92203 developing a fault was covering her duties. BR Class 37 D6732 BR Class 31 D5631 newly overhauled and now in BR green with yellow ends BR Class 08 D3935 BR Class 101 101694 using the NRM trailer car M56352 and M51188 on loan from the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway.
