Massachusetts has Backcountry Skiing?! | Low Speed Base Scraping Powder Skiing RAW

(January 2024) My first time Backcountry Skiing in Massachusetts. A big snow storm in early January brought over a foot to Western Mass. Despite their being no snow on the ground before this storm, my brother and I decided to try and do some backcountry skiing with no base. The skiing was fun but not terrific. We encountered a few minor directional hiccups, a non stick skin, and a few new scrapes to the bottom of our skis, but had a great time regardless. We didn’t really have much good skiing footage to make a more traditional edit out of this so I kept it in more of a raw vlog format. Something I haven’t really tried yet.
