Easy Roti or Chapati recipe with Foxtail millet

#millet #milletrecipe #foxtail #roti #food #lunch #siridhanya #shorts #recipe Roti or chapati is an everyday Indian unleavened flatbread made with just 2 ingredients. Normally wheat flour is used to make rotis. Why not make it with our ancient grains - Minor Millets aka siridhanya which are a powerhouse of nutrition. Minor millet lacks gluten which makes it difficult to knead the flour into pliable dough. You can use warm water to knead the dough and enjoy the rotis made with these healthy grains. OGMO unpolished Minor millet helps you eat good food without compromising on nutrition and saving you on soaking time, as the grains are already washed, soaked and solar dried. Talk about WIN-WIN!! Paper roast Foxtail Millet Roti/chapati recipe; Step 1 - Boil 1 cup of water in a pan or kadai. Step 2 - Add 1 cup of OGMO Foxtail millet in it and mix well. Step 3 - Take it out in a large plate, cool it little and knead for 2-3 minutes, cover and rest it for 15 minutes. Step 4 - Make rotis/chapatis as shown in the video. Note; You can use any OGMO premix to make this recipe. Add 1/4th tsp. salt while kneading the dough if you wish. Foxtail Millet Foxtail millets are the oldest cultivated millet. Foxtail millet is called Kangani in Hindi and Thinnai in Tamil. These are non-acidic, non-allergic, and gluten free, which makes them soothing and easy to digest. Foxtail millets are also rich in protein, fats, antioxidants, complex carbs, vitamins and minerals. This makes them complete food. Why OGMO Foxtail Millet 1. The minor millets are already soaked for 8 hours, solar dried and powdered, thus saving you loads of time and the trouble of soaking, drying and powdering the same. 2.
