The Great Indian Culture Conundrum | Aryaman Karoliwal | TEDxTheOrchidSchool

What defines India? Who are we as a nation and how did we get here? Do we have a common ethos as a nation? These are some heavy-weight questions on the Indian identity that captivates my 17-year-old inquisitive mind. Carl Jung said that the ability to ask questions is the greatest resource in learning the truth. So, my contribution to answering these mystery questions is by asking a series of simpler questions. I will not try to define a purist definition of Indian culture, but ask what is our collective understanding & description of our culture? Do we accept our cultural identity or are unfazed by its existence? Do we own the narrative of our culture? And hopefully in answering these simpler questions unfold the Great Indian Culture Conundrum.
