Para una carrera "tranquila" que podía haber tenido y a 2 vueltas del final me doy cuenta que los números no salen. Parece que eso de ir sin rebufo en SPA se nota mas de la cuenta y no solo en la velocidad punta en las rectas... Tuve que rodar 2 sec mas lento las 2 ultimas aguantando los nervios de si iba a llegar o si estaba aflojando demasiado. Además viendo como mi perseguidor se acercaba peligrosamente hasta que lo hizo y tuvimos nuestros mas y nuestros menos en el ultimo sector antes de cruzar la meta. Si la cruce! Al limite, pero lo hice...Tan al limite, que llegue literalmente a 0 cortándose el gas en el justo instante que cruzo la linea. Como si para subir las pulsaciones no fuese suficiente con pasar Eau Rouge y Raidillon a fondo 😜 Salvo por eso y el incidente que pude evitar en la primera vuelta, nada mas a reseñar. Mantener ritmo y a pescar lo que se pueda. Se que es triste pedir, pero mas triste es que Fernando Alonso solamente haya conseguido 2 mundiales de Formula 1. It seems that racing without a slipstream at Spa makes more of a difference than expected, and not just in top speed on the straights... I had to drive 2 seconds slower in the last two laps, trying to keep my nerves in check, wondering if I would make it or if I was slowing down too much. Meanwhile, I watched my pursuer dangerously close the gap until he caught up, and we had our moments back and forth in the last sector before crossing the finish line. But I crossed it! Barely, but I did it... So close that I literally reached 0 as the fuel cut off the very moment I crossed the line. As if getting my heart rate up wasn't enough by going full throttle through Eau Rouge and Raidillon. 😜 Except for that and the incident I managed to avoid on the first lap, nothing more to mention. Just keep a steady pace and fish for whatever points you can get. I know it’s sad to ask, but it’s even sadder that Fernando Alonso has only won 2 Formula 1 World Championships.
