United Methodist Bishops message on the church split, a critique of a respectful word salad.

The United Methodist Council of Bishops put together a rather flowery presentation in an apparent attempt to unite an ever fracturing denomination. I know that these men and women are serving during a very difficult time in history, but sadly, I feel that this video falls short of the leadership and direction that the United Methodist Church so desperately needs right now. Regardless of our stance on an issue, I believe that we should have human decency and respect for one another. The critique of this video is not to bring insult to those in charge, but to shed a light and share some genuine feelings for many still in the United Methodist denomination that do not feel as though they have a voice.
