In the late 80's & 90's SF conventions often had a fanmade video as part of the opening ceremony . These were usually video mashups, where clips from movies & TV shows were dubbed with music , or re-edited for humerous effect. This is an edited one from the Star Wars con Starwalking in 1989 , and features Battlestar Galactica taking on Star Wars , in reference to the plagiarism lawsuit between these two shows . I present it now as a tribute to one of the redubbers, Craig Blythe, who passed away 2/9/24
