This wasn't actually one of the recent requests for a do over, rather one that was fought on the original video. A pair of commenters spent nearly a week arguing back and forth over my casting for Jafar, thinking that this would have made a better video. It was actually their argument that gave me the idea to start doing these Specials. Reasons why Pinkie makes a better Genie aside, there's actually a very good explanation for why I used Twilight for Jafar: I was new at this. Aladdin was only the third set I ever did. I had just gotten featured on EQD for the first time and hundreds upon hundreds of you were subscribing all at once. I was a bit overwhelmed when I started planning this. I knew that I wanted Spike for Iago and decided to use Twilight since the two of them work well together. I honestly didn't give it much more thought than that at the time, other than it would be funny. Remember, I WAS new to this once. Plus, from the very beginning I've had a secret plan to have each of the main 6 play a villain role at least once. A plan that's nearly finished, once I find a suitable role for Fluttershy... I do not own My Little Pony or Disney, and so can you! With my new do-it-at-home system, you too can be not owning these companies and more in under two weeks!
