Instructions on how to make this quick fertilizer. Take clean and dry eggshells. Put them into the oven for 2 minutes (200 C) to kill the Salmonella bacterias. Grind the eggshells into powder. Add vinegar, apple vinegar, or lemon juice to the ground eggshells. Vinegar has acetic acid (from 3% and more). The eggshell contains calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate reacts with acid and forms calcium citrate. In this form, calcium becomes water-soluble and is well absorbed by the plants. Besides calcium, it contains Magnesium, Copper, Potassium, Iron, Zinc. Leave it for 2-3 hours. Add it to the soil while planting the plants.
