How I Prepare for Rain at Disney World - What to Do at Disney World When it Rains!

In this video, I will be sharing with you how to prepare for a rainy day at Disney World and what you can do in the parks while it is raining! Florida weather can be very unpredictable, so you will want to be prepared ahead of time before you leave on your trip to Disney World! I know what you are thinking, if it rains while on my vacation to Disney World, our trip will be ruined! Originally, thats what I had thought too! However, since I have visited the Disney parks as an annual passholder, I have found that that is not necessarily the case! As long as you come prepared, you can use the rain to your advantage! When visiting Disney World, especially in the summer, I recommend bringing either an umbrella, poncho, or raincoat! You can buy all of these while in the parks, but I recommend bringing them ahead of time to save money and time! Its guaranteed to rain at least once during your visit to the parks, so you might as well come prepared! The first thing you can do when it rains on your Disney vacation is take advantage of the low wait times and low crowd levels! I have found that as soon as it starts raining, the parks are significantly less crowded. Use this to your advantage and ride more rides than you would normally be able to! Also, spend this time staying dry by doing a lot of the indoor shows or rides. Escape the rain by hanging out watching a show! This will allow you to still be able to experience the parks, but also keep you dry! In Magic Kingdom, they have a special Rainy Day parade that will come through as it is raining. The parade features some of the characters and dancers and is great to watch if you have an umbrella! If you are able to keep an eye on the weather and its looking like it will rain at some point in the day, I recommend doing the outdoor rides at the beginning of the day to guarantee that you will be able to ride them! Disney will close the ride permanently for the day if inclement weather persists, so you want to make sure you are able to get to your favorite rides! Thank you for watching!
