How to ride a motorcycle. Part 1 we will go over Controls, Clutch, and Shifting. This will be a great beginners guide to anyone who is thinking about riding motorcycle, or who may have just began riding. After watching this video, you will be more familiar with basic controls, and how to shift a motorcycle. Get familiar with the weight of the motorcycle and the basic controls. Then you can move into getting the motorcycle rolling. Learn where that friction zone is at. This is a very important step. Give a little throttle and find that friction zone, and walk the motorcycle until you are comfortable enough to lift your feet. As you progressively become comfortable, work on shifting up and down to other gears. Be patient with yourself and most of all, HAVE FUN! This video was inspired by my wife asking me about what the controls are on a motorcycle. She has been a little curious about riding, so I made this video as a learning guide for her, and anyone else it may serve that purpose. Watch for upcoming episodes in the beginner series. I am just a guy who loves all motorcycles. I am by no means a professional. I am merely passing on information I feel to be important in riding. I had fun making this video.
