Death's Gambit Afterlife is a metroidvania/soulslike game developed by White Rabbit and released for PC as well as Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It is an expansion as well as update to the original Death's Gambit released in August of 2018, and provides a wealth of new additions and quality of life improvements that were missing from the original. The game takes place in Siradon, a realm that holds the Source of Immortality at its center, an artefact protected by powerful entities known as the Immortals. You take on the role of Sorun, a soldier of the neighboring country of Vados, who is part of an expedition to retrieve the Source but is slaughtered in the process.
