Samarth proudly presents the inspiring story of determination and never-give up attitude of Simran Sharma who is rewriting the perceptions surrounding people with disabilities through her skillful shooting. Simran met with an accident and suffered spinal cord injury which left her lower body paralysed. Despite all odds, Simran at 14 years of age is National Level para rifle shooter and has won 11 medals in last three nationals. Simran is one of the athletes supported by Hyundai & NDTV partnership under Samarth initiative, an initiative with the aim of creating an inclusive society for people with disabilities.
