For anyone considering upgrading their free version of SE to the paid version on Steam, and wondering how much better it is, or even if its worth it, YES! It is totally worth $25 USD and I even got it on sale today for $19.99. The Nebulae are volumetric and actually look great compared to the horrible shapes for the older version. Planets have way more surface detail, however keep in mind that you will need a more powerful computer to run it. The HDR and Auto Exposure modes are perfect for different shots. The HDR has better overall visual clarity and a wide dynamic range. The Auto Exposure mode is realistic in a way to if you are looking at a bright planet, you won't see dim stars next to it. Objects are much more accurate, and if you have the paid version you will keep getting updates and support. Also not to mention the volumetric rings are phenomenal!! If you were questioning upgrading such as I was, just go for it. Trust me, the second you load up the game you'll be impressed! Music: New Planet by Healioid
