In this video, I show you how to hold your dressage whip without affecting the horse's mouth. As part of your dressage training, there will come a time when you need to use your whip and when you do you won't want to "bump" your horse in the mouth. You will also need to swap hands with your whip and this is an integral part of your dressage riding and should be something you work on in your dressage lessons. I show you how to balance the whip in your hand and swap it from side to side without affecting the connection you have with your horse's mouth.
