Passionate Leaders Create a Ripple Effect on Society | Jennifer Smith | TEDxBabsonCollege

What is your passion? How does your passion impact those around you? Jennifer Smith, CEO of Growth Potential Consulting and Founder of the Passionate Leader Institute® has developed over 3500 leaders working in 14 industries across five continents. During this talk, she shares her journey to finding her passion and the challenges one might face along the way. Jennifer begins to demystify if something is truly a passion by sharing criteria identified by years of research. And she discusses behaviors associated with different states of passion – what she calls the Passionate Leader ContinuumTM to help leaders learn the importance of being intentional and at choice. Her question for you: are you a Passionate Leader? Passionate Leaders create a ripple effect on society – make yours a positive one. Jennifer is the CEO and Strategic Advisor at Growth Potential Consulting. She has more than 20 years of experience in leadership and has helped thousands of leaders across 5 continents and 14 industries develop their leadership capabilities. Jennifer’s desire to help others motivates her to offer pro bono facilitation as well as coaching to people who have been out of work and are struggling to get their next job. In addition, she is a mentor for a women’s high-potential leadership program. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
