Follow along with Rob has he demonstrates an exercise in structural geology, mapping out normal faults to create a "fault loss map" that shows how different faults can interact. These types of maps are fundament for interpreting fault patterns in the subsurface in sedimentary basins using 3D seismic images. But here we use an active tectonic landscape - in Djibouti, comparing the result with fault patterns found in sedimentary basins.
