The legend, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, whose style varied his entire 75 year-long art career and kept his critics on their toes, as he never wanted to be put in a box and labeled as x, y or z; while thriving in the true meaning of Eclecticism. Ingres inspired the modern art movements and was a hero to my dear Impressionists.
