A few months ago I flew over to Luton to visit a Voyager Flight Simulatioand their Boeing 737. It was born out of a mutual passion for aviation. Howard Atkins and Paul Lang met several years ago whilst training to be instructors in the Boeing 737 – 800 flight simulator. Their vision is to create a high spec, jetliner and helicopter flight simulator centre that will suit experienced flyers and non flyers alike. It is their mission to bring the fun of flying to everyone. Their instructors are patient, approachable and friendly, combining years of experience and expertise, with genuine enthusiasm. They will instil confidence in you to create a positive and enjoyable experience that will remain with you long after your session has ended. Voyager Flight Simulation has two simulators – a jetliner and a helicopter. Their Boeing 737-800 fixed base simulator is a brand new state-of-the-art simulator, with 220° wrap around screen and 4k projectors. And the Robinson R22 fixed base helicopter simulator, made from a real airframe, also has 4k projectors and a 180° wrap around screen.
