Dear Brothers and Sisters, SAI RAM! Sri. Bharat Datt has kindly agreed to address us on the 139th episode of Brindavan Samarpan. Sri Bharat Datt was drawn into Bhagawan’s presence for 12 years from 1982 to 1994 spanning 11th grade to his Masters in Biosciences. He was fortunate to receive a gold medal in academics in the 1990 convocation at Prasanthi Nilayam from our beloved Bhagawan. After post-graduation, he worked as faculty and later at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Puttaparthi. In 2021, Sri Bharat was presented with an executive MBA in healthcare from the Jack Welch Management Institute, Strayer university where he received “The Welch scholar” award for a perfect GPA. He was cited by poets and quants magazine in the top 100 new MBA graduates of 2021 in America. He resides in Orlando Florida with his family. During 1984 to 1994, He was an integral part of the Parthi bhajan group and other devotional programs such as Guru Purnima, Maha Sivarathri and Bhagawan’s birthday, singing bhajans in the presence of Bhagawan. He also played background music for many dramas directed by our beloved Bhagawan himself. With Swami’s blessings he also had the opportunity to accompany on the harmonium great artists like Smt. MS Subbulakshmi, Smt. P Susheela, Smt. P Leela, Sri. Malaysia Vasudevan, Sri. Pandit Jasraj & Sri. Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. He also accompanied the jazz trumpeter Sri. Maynard Ferguson on the Piano & the Accordion. He sang & produced 3 bhajan albums, “Echoes of the Past”, “Eternal Quest” & “My Soul at your lotus Feet”. Sri Bharat is a clinical perfusionist and he still pursues the same. During one of his interactions, our beloved Bhagawan said, "Always be happy and content". On another such occasion, Bhagawan assured him "Never fear when I’m here".
