Moon Zappa recently revealed in her new book that her father Frank Zappa had left a will stating that each of his 4 kids would get an equal share (25%), as well as other things regarding his business. However, Gayle Zappa (her mother) pretended that Frank's will didn't exist, and ended up leaving uneven amounts for the children - 30% each for Ahmet and Diva, and only 20% each for herself (Moon) and Dweezil. In this clip from a recent episode of Ahmet's podcast (Rocktails), a caller questions him on this, and he attempts to justify keeping the extra money instead of distributing it evenly among his siblings as his father Frank Zappa directed in his will. #zappa #frankzappa #moonzappa
