Hi, everyone! Here is the final result of the sewing room renovation! Inspired by Guedelon Castle in Southern France, I chose to use 13th century joinery methods to complete this three month project. Historical woodworking is something I'd like to experiment more with and apply to future projects! Caveat: This is a historical representation and not to be considered "historically accurate." The joinery is period per the research in the medieval carpentry article below, but there were many modern techniques used for ease and safety reasons.
