Folkestone 2024 Exhibition Highlights

This exhibition visit only involved myself, as the wife didn't fancy driving over an hour (and dealing with the Dartford Crossing) just for trains. Like Shoeburyness, there were several great layouts including Mid Essex MRC's Butler Central, their N gauge offering. North American was represented here as well, albeit a little less compared to previous exhibitions and surprisingly, none of them featured in my personal favourite list. The exhibition was held in the Leas Cliff Hall, overlooking the channel. I took the opportunity to grab a winding shot from either side of the hall, and therefore used it as the starting and end points of the video. You may see the Grand Burstin hotel in the distance to the left; the Mrs and I stayed there a while ago. Like before, these are just the highlights from what I could pull from the camera. There were other layouts, one of which won best of show but the recording of the visit was really bad. I was pleased to get my club's layout and my favourite's on camera at least, plus both of the North American layouts.
