It's a maths lesson for knitters! Altering knitting patterns can be so satisfying when you're able to change up a knitting pattern to get a perfect fit. Once you've decided on how & where you want to alter your pattern, the next step is to calculate your gauge so that you can work out how to make changes. This video tutorial takes a step-by-step approach through the simple calculations required to start making knitting alterations. This tutorial provides examples of how to use these calculations to change the width or length of a sweater at key places.
