Regardless of where you fall on the Splash Mountain controversy and whether or not it should have been rethemed, Tiana's Bayou Adventure is open in Walt Disney World. In this case, Disney has fulfilled the cardinal rule of attraction removal..."if you eliminate an attraction, you had better replace it with something of equal or greater quality!" Tiana's Bayou Adventure, while maintaining the same physical flume track layout and thrilling finale, has taken a giant technological leap forward with the newest cutting edge animatronics. Although, I was a big fan of Splash Mountain and do mourn its loss, I will admit that Tiana's is a fun time for all. It should not be missed if you are in the Magic Kingdom on your next visit.
