The Simpson Powershot PS4240 pressure washer uses a 12HP Honda GX390 engine with low oil shutdown. This is a high power pressure washer that runs up to 4200 PSI with a 4.0 GPM water flow. That's about as big as you get for a direct-drive model. It features a AAA Industrial triplex plunger pump with a quick connect pump/hose connection and comes with a 3/8″ x 50′ steel-braided Monster hose. The included 31″ Steel wand also uses the quick connect and threaded M22 connection. Simpson includes 5 tips including 0°, 15°, 25°, 40° and a soap nozzle. The pressure washer uses a heavy-duty welded steel construction with a steel axle frame that rides on a pair of 13-inch premium pneumatic tires. We used it to pressure wash a decent-sized pool cage as well as the decorative concrete flooring surrounding it. It had plenty of power and reach, and worked well with the aluminum extension wand we added to hit the peaks. Price is premium, but this is truly a top-of-the-line performer.
