How to change rear brake switch of motorcycle | brake light not working | brake switch replacement

In this video you will learn how to replace rear brake switch of your motorcycle. If your rear brake light is not turning ON and you have diagnose the problem and found that rear brake switch is faulty , then there could be two problems , one the rear brake switch is bad itself which can be repaired or the spring that is attached to the rear brake paddle is broken. If you get a new spring then simply replace it , otherwise you have to replace the whole unit. First you need to open the old rear brake switch , to do that turn the plastic nut on it in clockwise direction until the brake switch comes out , then remove the nut itself from the holding bracket and disconnect then wiring connector. Now simply place the new rear brake switch nut then inert the new springs one end in the hole of metal pin in brake switch and tight it by pressing with the help of pliers. After that place the switch into the nut and turn the nut in anticlockwise direction to tight it . Then attach the other end of spring into the slot given behind the rear brake paddle and tight it b pressing with pliers. Once done , calibrate the rear brake switch by turning the nut in such a way that when you start pressing the rear brake paddle the rear brake light starts glowing.
