I think it will be a blast to chase bass in the 10-16" class on because they will put up a really nice fight! Additionally, this will still work for larger panfish which is a nice plus. I could see it being a fine crappie rod. That said, it feels like it has enough backbone to handle big fish too. Stay tuned as the waters warm up.
