This video at roughly 12:30 minutes into it, I illustrate how I load and unload various sceneries and plug-ins. I find it helpful to only load the files necessary for the flight I'm doing. Otherwise, you could potentially have 100's of plugins running in the background, like many instances of ground tfc plugins from a bunch of airport scenery, which will hinder your FPS and will most likely cause CTD or other issues. If you look at the bottom of my Custom Scenery Folder, you'll see a file folder which I re-named with a number 36 in it. That number 36 tells me how many files should be there for default loading. Meaning, these files are required on every flight. Like ortho etc.. I use Symbolic Links for all my ortho. Leave a comment below if you have questions.
