RC Drift - 350z Sick Splatter Paint Job - Iridescent Pearl Overload - MUST SEE!!

Sometimes when I'm not drifting, I'm painting...but not just bodies, canvases as well. Doing so gave me a thought one day to try something new with the paint on an RC body. I found a low-cost body on Amazon from Santaizi in the form of this 350z, which I was stoked (still want a 350z of my own) to use as my test piece. I had never heard of them before and after some research I found that they are fairly new to the game. Bought it to test the paint on, but also to try out their bodies. Watch as I go from start to finish on my experimental paint project. I will talk, show an example, test some stuff, talk some more, probably drop something, and then finish it off with some nice drifting action, a few close calls, some crashes.... even some light tandem action! Woo-hoo, so much fun learning to drive with others. 😁 The paints I used are an assortment of acrylic paints that are readily available online, or through your local craft & art supply store. Approximately 19 colors were used, 13 of them were iridescent pearls from Arteza, mixed with Flotrol & water to desired consistency. The remainder were either Artist Loft, or Liquitex, again both mixed as stated above. Not saying these will work the same for you, but I had favorable results and will continue to use them in the future. They adhere well to the polycarbonate and the color shows through amazingly well. One side was then back by Tamiya white, the other with Tamiya black for polycarbonate. It was all then backed by Tamiya black. The body has already been subjected to abuse, and the paint is holding up really well, with no discernable changes or damage from multiple impacts, most of which can be seen in this video. Front headlights were sprayed with several light coats of Duplicolor Metalcast Yellow, the rears with Metalcast Red, followed by Pactra window tint spray. I am already working on my next body in the "Splatter Series", and will be using these paints again...but less colors, larger volumes, and within a specific palette range. Keep an eye out for that video, or subscribe & turn on notifications to be in the know when new videos drop! Until the next one, thanks for watching! #RCDrift #fyp #CustomPaint #CarCulture #Nissan #350z #Zociety #Kareless #DriftAmericaRC #DARC #ZCar #Z33 #Pearl #Art #DriftArt #TwoFace #ArtZ #Badass #Drift #Drifting #Drifter #Hobby #Santaizi #ArtezaPaints #ArtistLoft #LiquitexBasics #TamiyaPaints
