Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Classic Mode - Pichu

Read description first Doing Pichu's Classic Mode run. "Truly a surprise they even brought you back," Palutena said. "I-I know! I thought for sure I wasn't gonna come back ever again, but they actually made me stronger than before! Watch!" Pichu gathered electricity, but he quickly short-circuited the next second, looking dazzled. "O-o-okay, I still see a lot of stars as always..." He shook himself off to regain his focus. "His transition has been real kind, though. No joke," Viridi said. "Pichu still gets zapped by recoil damage, but so many of his moves are stronger simply because he can't regulate his electric power as well and Pichu. Then there's the rage mechanic that makes damaged opponents increase their knockback the more they're hurt, and Pichu can exploit that from just hurting himself without getting knocked out!" "Hm-hmm, it's crazy. His joke character status has actually become beneficial as a fighter. He'll soon enough make Pikachu look redundant, at least until they decide to take the rage mechanic away," Palutena said. "A-aww, you two are being too nice," Pichu said, not really understanding much of what they were saying. "...And kind of informative," Chris pointed out. "You two usually and mercilessly roast people coming i-" Pichu zapped his leg once, startling him. "Don't ruin this for me," Pichu whispered in a threatening tone. Chris gulped in shock but nodded. "So, back to his route," Palutena said. "It's a not-so subtle route that has Pichu fight lightweights. And Mewtwo. Because, despite appearances, he is a lightweight despite his large size." Viridi snickered. "They really wanted to make things easy for people having doubts about Pichu's strength. It's so funny," she said. "Even more so when using Mewtwo here. If Mewtwo was actually as heavy as he's supposed to be, Pichu would be TOASTED. It's so funny Pichu's got it easy in this space." Pichu groaned. "Aww, I thought you weren't gonna make fun of me!" he squeaked. He pointed at Chris. "Y-you! You reminded them!" "T-they ALWAYS do it regardless!" Chris shot back. "Oh, but I appreciate Pichu," Palutena said, picking up. "It wouldn't be right to leave him behind from the festivities. He's back with a vengeance, and we all have to respect his return." She hugged him close to her, his head resting on her right shoulder. "I'm soooooo confused right now. I don't know what to think," Pichu said, grimacing. "Congratulations. They've done their job on you," Chris lamented. "...Also, FYI, she's planning to take you home with her." "EEEEEEEEEEH!!!" Pichu shrieked and quickly scampered off from her grasp, running away really fast from the scene. Palutena grunted. "The one time I don't want you spoiling surprises. Seriously!" she scolded Chris. "And what's wrong with me taking in a Pichu?" "We've seen Pit," both Viridi and Chris said, cringing. "Pit likes being by my side." "Yes, but the damage has already been done to his mind he can't tell anymore," Viridi giggled. Chris nodded. Palutena scoffed. Key Notes: Classic Mode Overview (repeated in every other character video) - Unlike before, you will never start your difficulty at the maximum difficulty (9.9). The limit you can start is at 5.0. - However, depending on how well you do in every fight, the difficulty will steadily increase. The factors that contribute an increase are if you... 1) ...finished the fight as quickly as possible. 2) ...didn't stay put or mess around. 3) ...actually managed to avoid damage altogether (meaning a perfect run, which doesn't really guarantee an extra point). - At best, you can get a whole point (or more) added to difficulty. At worst, you get nothing. "Nice Plays" may just be compliments that usually are around 0.8 additions. Do your best to get to the end of the mural. - Using tickets avoids losing difficulty, but in case the difficulty is still increasing, you'll get a 0.1 increase if you win a match...and never reach 9.9. Pichu's Final Boss - The hands, of course. - Seriously speaking, Pichu actually is stronger than it was in Melee. Its got many buffs across the boards (with some little nerfs), and the rage mechanic makes it a curious glass cannon of sorts. Its small size lets it avoid many blows that usually hit other fighters, but still, you must rely on its high mobility to strike fast. - ...That being said, rage doesn't do any wonders against bosses. Sorry, you're on your own there. Procure not using electricity much against the hands. "It's been nice, but we have already run out of unlockable fighters," Palutena said. "What a shame. This aftermath section has run its course." "Truly a shame," Chris sarcastically said. "...We just need to make the intro section longer to compensate, if we can," Viridi said. "Good idea!" Palutena agreed, high-fiving Viridi. Chris's twitching smile heavily clashed with the tears leaking out from his closed eyes. Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
