New Model Railway Layout Design - It's BIGGER, but is it BETTER? 🤔

In this video I talk through plans for my new OO guage layout. These include staging, a helix, Little Wicket through station, a city terminus, the "Harborne" branchline country station and an industrial area. There were quite a few things that I didn't like about my old layout and I've addressed them in the new design. I've tried to explain why I've designed it the way I have, but I'm sure there's always room for improvement so please do leave your comments below. It's not a 100% finished design, but I think I'm at the point where I just want to get on with building some baseboards and getting the staging, helix and mainline in place. The terminus and the branchline are fairly well developed, but there's still work to be done on the industrial area. This has been designed in AnyRail, I'm not an expert user, but find it really helps to visualise how things will work. The next step will be to set it all out in the space to see how it looks in the real world. I've not mentioned it in this video, but the track will all be mostly Peco streamline code 100. Track decisions will be the subject of another video in the future and I'll explain my reasoning then.
