It seems my friend Kagai set me off on a mission to find the absolute best way to eat and work in the car, continuing that quest I bought a CarTray this steering wheel food tray or steering wheel desk to try in our Tesla Model X P100D to see if it beats the other solutions we've tried so far. The tray is lightweight but solid and does exactly what is promised. I love both the finish on the steering wheel grip and that they included multiple sizes of silicone bumpers, unlike other trays we've looked at here, it will not scratch leather or vegan leather steering wheel wraps so it will not require modification if you want to keep your car in the best shape. We ended up using this tray on every food stop of a recent road trip and one where I was doing some work on the iPad, the others we just watched YouTube. I don't know why the other tray made a cameo unless I had been thinking to do a Kikimo tray vs CarTray comparison and then CarTray won because I didn't want to stop using it.
