For the fourth time in Africa! Join me now and let's explore a new country and today, our plane lands in the North African country of Algeria and more specifically in the city of Algiers. But before that - one does not simply walk to Algeria. First, you would drown in the Mediterranean Sea, but more importantly, you need a visa and it has to be applied for at the Embassy. Another first for me. But now we are in the country, we will rent a car and explore the Algerian capital. We'll get some lovely views from the Church of Notre Dame d'Afrique and the Martyrs Monument, walk the little streets of the Qasbah, or the Old Town and some more. After that we will embark on a long drive towards the east and we will visit the UNESCO landmark in the mountains: the Beni Hammad Fort.
