In today's video, I will be testing out micro pearl from the @MaycoColors stoneware glaze collection . All around, this is a very dynamic and interesting glaze that forms sparkling crystals. In my opinion here, it looked best on lighter colored clay bodies. I really appreciated the subtle crystal growth underlayers of pastel sky blue and creamy white. I would be especially interested in seeing how this glaze layers with others, and may need to look into some combo testing soon. Overall, this is an interesting effect glaze that could be a lot of fun to work with in your studio. Thanks for tuning in this week.
