DJI FPV Goggles V2 Unbox - Activation fix in description

These V2 units are technically for the FPV drone kit and will not allow you to activate without connecting to the drone first. Not all V2 goggles are replacements or part of the kit so do not assume this will be the issue for all V2s. I received a pair that was defaulting to the FPV drone and had to dig around a bit, luckily for me Josh Bardwell had access to the bug fix. Credit to "itsblunty' and mr Bardwell for the info; 1- Download latest version of the DJI Assistant 2 (FPV Series) V2.1.0 from the official website.**VERY IMPORTANT YOU HAVE THE FPV SERIES OF DA2 https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/dji_a... 2- Log in with this DJI internal account: ACCOUNT ID: [email protected] Password: DJI123456 3- Go to settings in the DJI Assistant 2 software and enable the first two options "DJI Account info" and "DJI Device info" 4- Power on your goggles and connect them to the CPU via USB cable, click on the Goggle icon and on the update page download and update to V00.05.1086 5- After update is complete unplug the goggles go the goggle Settings - About - Switch to DJI Digital System and hit confirm, you will have to manually reboot the system so power off and back on. 6- There should now be a notice on the goggles screen to activate 7- Connect to the googles back to the DJI Assistant 2 software on the CPU and click on the goggles icon on the DA2, there will be notice on the software to activate. Follow the activation procedure and make sure you change the info back your account when prompted(for warranty purposes) 8- Enter the update screen on the DA2 software and update to the latest version, currently V01.00.0606 This worked for me, but I had to follow this step by step.
