Husqvarna 372xp with Farmertec 52mm "Big Bore" Cylinder At Work & Cylinder Review

2016 update. Actually this video is more relevant now two years later. That saw has been in a production environment. I was in contact with the fellow until December of this year and that saw was still earning money for him. Wow. I never would have guessed that particular saw would last and perform as well as it has. SO I built another similar build with "Cyclops" that summer...2014. And IT is being retired this year after hours and hours of solid performance with no failures. That's two 52mm machines built with the same Huztl top ends. Both have exceeded expectations in so many ways. Time to move on thought. Because of age and injury from years past I'm moving to 60cc class saws. The 562 is the targeted platform and as of yet there are no AM parts for those at this point in time. One thing I can say already is I miss the simple 372's and the like to work on and maintain. The Autotune's are there for EPA driven reasons and while good take a lot of control away from you. SO to the saw enthusiast's out there, if dollars are part of your decision.. STAY with these 372's and don't be afraid of Huztl/Farmertech 52mm top ends! An afternoon in the woods to take down 25-30 Maple Tree's for Taxes and Farm investment. Want more cows. Cover felling strategy for a dangerous "split" Maple and other interesting situations .. Knocking down a "hung" tree with another tree...just for kicks. A great time to test the Huztl / Husqvarna 372 52mm "Big Bore" Saw build!situations The saw ran fine. Rattle a few things off.... Gas Cap, Pull Start Cover Screw. The Choke kept popping loose. NOTHING that can't be quickly solved.
