A beloved pianist who spent most of his career in Nashville, Tennessee, John Gordy was one of the behind the scenes performers at the Grand Ole Opry, and encompassed several genres from Ragtime and Honky-Tonk through Swing, Jazz and Country. This 1955 RCA Victor album is one of only two LPs released under his name during his lifetime.
