I just love the look of Glaze Drips on a pot, don't you? Seeing the way that the glaze pools and flows. This video is a step-by-step of how I layer glazes to create beautiful glaze drips. Clay used to throw wine tumblers: Plainsman Clay M390 and fired to Cone 04 Bisque. Final glaze fire was fired to Cone 6 in a manual kiln - 15 minute hold - and slow cool. GLAZES USED: Mayco's Winter Wood, Abalone and Lavender Mist. Many of you have asked about glazing BRUSHES since I've published this video so thought I'd add this until I am able to do a more in depth video on tools, but I think this should hold you over.
