Tune in to the Conan show on TBS (weeknights 11/10c) and you will hear, and likely see, guitarist Jimmy Vivino leading the house band through a variety of musical styles while under crazy time and production constraints and doing it all on live TV. Talk about pressure! But the band, which is known as Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band, handles it more than admirably, and have become known for their dead-on performances. Jimmy has been an Epiphone fan for many years and it has been said that he has more Casinos than Vegas, but at the 2013 NAMM show, he discovered the Epiphone Riviera Custom P-93 and had to add it to his ever-expanding collection of Epiphone guitars. We spoke with Jimmy backstage at the Conan show about his new guitar.
