Last Saturday we made the hour and a half drive from Los Angeles to the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, which is owned by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. It was our first time there and we didn’t know what to expect. What we found was a huge casino on two levels with about 7,000 slots, which is more than any casino in Las Vegas. The casino is bright and clean and didn’t feel crowded, and it had most of the games we love to play when we’re in Las Vegas. There were a number of machines that were out of service, but on Tuesday we received an email ‪@Yaamava‬ saying there had been a power outage Saturday and giving us $25 in free play and a $15 food credit as their way of apologizing. The truth is, they have so many machines we had no trouble finding fun games to play, but we appreciate the gesture and amazing customer service. There are lots of good food and drink options, but you won’t find any cocktail servers on the floor before 5:00 p.m. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely go back. What about you?
