Happy Birthday violin play-along (beginner)

Everyone wants to learn how to play happy birthday on the violin so here it is with sheet music and tab! And it's a pretty good tune to learn for the advancing beginner - it introduces dotted rhythms and uses a low 2nd finger on the E string. In the video the melody is played three times. In the sheet music that you can download for free on the website (link below)I've just written out the melody once, and  I have written the held note with a fermata instead of writing out the long note. Fun fact: although the tune is originally from 1893 or earlier with the Happy Birthday words first appearing in 1912 (neither including copyright notices), Warner Chappell Music tried and succeeded in claiming copyright on it until 2015, charging up to $700 in royalty fees for a single use, but their copyright ownership was disputed and overturned and they had to pay back $14 million in licensing fees.  Happy practicing, and have fun!
