Rich and delicious Dal ka Halwa Recipe - a true comfort food that never fails to satisfy the soul. #daalkahalwa #daalhalwa #recipe #sooperchef 0:00 0:17 Daal ka Halwa Preparation Chanay Ki Daal Ka Halwa Recipe Ingredients: Chanay ki daal /Split Chickpeas (soaked) 3 cups Sugar 2 cups Milk 4 cups + 1 cup Desi ghee 1/2 cup Almonds (crushed) 1/4 cup Walnuts (crushed) 1/4 cup Raisins 1/4 cup Khoya 1/2 cup Elaichi powder 1 tsp Yellow food color 1 tsp Khoya (for garnishing) Nuts (for garnishing) Directions: 1. In a heated pan add split chickpeas milk. Bring it to a boil over medium heat. 2. Turn the flame to low and cover with half lid on. Cook for 20-25 mins. 3. Now take off the lid and transfer the daal into a blender. Blend until well. 4. In a pan heat desi ghee and add the daal mixture. Cook for 10 mins. Stir and cook to avoid the mixture from sticking. 5. Now add milk, khoya, and sugar, and cook until sugar dissolves. Add yellow food color and cook until halwa leaves the sides of the pan. 6. Add almonds, walnuts, raisins, and cardamom powder and mix it well. 7. Lastly garnish with nuts and khoya and enjoy. Your Daal ka Halwa is ready.
