"The Days to Come" Celtic Harp Solo by Nadia Birkenstock (keltische Hafe)

Find the sheet music of this original composition as PDF at https://www.keltische-harfe.de/shop/s... Music, audio recording and mix, video editing: Nadia Birkenstock Filming, drone flights, audio mastering, video editing: Ralf Kleemann The story behind the video: In the Summer of 2020, in the middle of the Corona-Pandemic, the foundation "Klangspektrum Baden-Württemberg" launched a sponsored artist support programm for a giant video installation. (https://klangspektrum-bw.de/) 1000 Musicians could apply with a video of a previously unreleased piece, and I chose to film "The Days to come" an instrumental piece that I had written in the previous weeks. I had written "The days to Come" on my smaller harp, Iona, that I took into the forest, every afternoon, sitting in the shade on mossy stones. The melody fragment that first emerged when I sat down to write this was calm and confident, and in the essence, I think, this piece is about reminding yourself where your strength comes from in challenging times. The filming (including the drone flights) was done in Alsace, on the Mont Sainte Odile, in the middle of August 2020 by my wonderful friend and collegue Ralf Kleemann. A big warm thank you for his work! Check out his YouTube channel at    / harfenspieler   Hope you'll enjoy! ****************** The harp played in this video is the 35 string rosewood Celtic Harp (harpe celtique, keltische Harfe) "Manjula", made by Frank Sievert & Burkart Kleiner in Germany. Frank Sievert sadly passed away a few years ago, but if you are looking for a simliar harp I highly recommend conatcting Reto Hofstetter who worked with him: [email protected].
