I'm sure everybody has seen the viral "You're average at best" video, from Kevin Samuels by now. Their are numerous " you're average at best" reaction videos on Youtube and some of those have even gone viral. But I still haven't given my perspective on it and some of you have DM'd me and asked me to talk about what happened. So here it is! Before I get into it, I want to say I'm sorry to Jessica Gardner if this video reopens any wounds or anything. I don't believe she's average at all! In fact she managed to do something most people can't do... Make six figures as a single mom and without a man. That proves she's not average. I feel that she was treated unfairly. It's sad when a black woman comes to a black man for help and not only does she not get the help she needs, she gets embarrassed in front of the whole world. She didn't deserve that in my opinion.
