Kaweco $30 Pen vs $230 Pen - Gold Nib - Is It Worth It?

Well after a weekend filled with delays, I finally got a video done! Originally I was going to talk about my Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 that I recently acquired along with the accessories but the video I shot sounded EXTREMELY unenthusiastic (even though I was super enthusiastic about it!) so it was back to the drawing board. I got this Kaweco Skyline Sport out of the NOMOS pencil case. It writes much better now after flushing it out a few times. Then I picked up the AL Sport and I am impressed! The upgrade to the 14k gold nib is a hefty price but it makes a huge difference in my writing experience! I decided that if I am going to collect pens again, they will have to be: 1. German - In the future I may open up to other countries but for now just made in Germany! 2. Gold nibs! I just love how these glide across the page! 3. Piston or cartridge converter compatible. I prefer using bottled inks! My internet was down the last two days so last night I brainstormed this video! I hope you enjoyed this little comparison! Both Kaweco pens are top-notch!
